She has a great breadth of technical knowledge which she tailors to suit her students’ needs. For example, she broke down the process of drawing in a way which helped me translate my creative ideas into tangible work - this was an amazing confidence boost that positively impacted my entire artistic practice. Helen was also extremely supportive in helping me follow my own ideas and interests; she facilitated more experimental ways of working and i was encouraged to find my path and artistic identity.
